Tarot cards are an instrument used to provide deeper insight and information to the issues man encounter in their daily life. The cards which is referred to as Tarot deck is used by readers to enable individuals to realize the problems in relationships, chances and expected changes that occur in a persons life. The cards are endowed with accurate meanings. A tarot reading uses them to deduce what is in the offing for his subject.
78 cards are included in the Tarot deck. They are parted into two. The first part is called major arcane and the second part is known as minor arcane. The first part comprises 22 cards while the second part has 56 cards. The 56 cards in the minor arcane are again parted in to four parts. They represent fire, water, earth and air. Each pile will consist of 14 cards.
Every card’s face will hold a symbolic representation of the meaning it conveys. A number too is given to each card. The number too has great importance when you take a reading. The cards in the first group or major arcane are provided numbers from 0 to 21. The cards in each suit included in minor arcane are given numbers from 1 to 10. The final 4 cards of every suit have a King, Queen, Knight and Page. A tarot reading deduces a card as per the numeral and suit given.
The cards belonging to the first group or major arcane has more significance in the reading. Hence they are assessed in more depth during a reading. The position of major arcane cards is believed to have important influences on the subjects’ life. The minor arcane cards denote the circumstances in the subjects’ life.
